Raquel is a Political Science and International Business student at the American University in Washington DC. Her past leadership positions, debate competitions and experience with political consulting firms have fostered an interest in Law and Government. In the future, she hopes to enroll in law school and become a corporate lawyer for international firms. 

 

Raquel speaks fluent Spanish, Italian and English, which she all learned from living in Puerto Rico for 18 years. 

 

When not working, Raquel enjoys traveling and reading at her favorite coffee shop, Politics and Prose. In the past, Raquel was also an NCAA college cheerleader, soccer player, and “crossfitter,” as well as an avid Model United Nations competitor.
