Cody Etlin
Emerging Markets Intern
Cody is a BA in Geography and International Affairs Candidate at the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs, where he is also completing a minor in Geographic Information Systems (G.I.S). Prior to joining AMGlobal, Cody worked for the Institute for International Economic Policy (IIEP) at the Elliott School of International Affairs as the Operations and Events supervisor.
At AMGlobal, Cody analyzes Latin American and African markets for the viability of technological projects encompassing agribusiness and domain usage. Additionally, Cody is researching and developing an IdeaLab initiative designed to use ride-share technology (like Uber) to help bring crops to market more quickly and sustainably across the developing world. Cody believes that emerging markets can grow sustainably by utilizing data, fostering innovation, and creating public-private partnerships.
Cody is fluent in English and Spanish. He has lived in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Punta del Este, and Washington D.C. Cody is creating a Latin American policy-oriented student organization at the George Washington University. He loves to travel and listen to British rock.
